"Future Farmers of America" was founded by a group of young farmers in 1928. Their mission was to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. They taught us that agriculture is more than planting and harvesting - it's a science, it's a business and it's an art.
Here in Fulton County, IL, Lewistown and Cuba High School have been hosting an FFA chapter for many years. We hope to see the chapter grow and continue to expand with your donations.
Every year students from both chapters volunteer at the event running the food stand and selling shirts. We wish to thank Abbi Harrison and the Lewistown FFA and Addy Stufflebeam and the Cuba FFA for their commitment to their fundraiser and for their assistance with post event cleaning of the fairgrounds!
The pull was organized to raise money for the FFA chapter while engaging the community in a family oriented fun day. We started in 2018 and raised $8,100 for the Lewistown FFA Chapter. Each year we hope that the pull will continue to grow even more as we raise money for the FFA programs in both Cuba & Lewistown. We hope for many years of community support to come while promoting local businesses and providing a great experience for those who participate and attend.
